1. Scope and operator
This policy covers the current SubscriptionDay iPhone app and this website. It describes the features currently implemented; new data practices will be disclosed before they take effect.
2. Subscription records
Names, amounts, currencies, renewal dates, categories, lists, payment-method labels, notes and preferences are stored in a JSON file in the app’s local storage. The app does not send these records to a developer-operated server. Payment-method labels are for organization; do not enter full card numbers, passwords or sensitive payment credentials.
3. Screenshots and permissions
If you choose screenshots through the system photo picker, the app uses Apple Vision to recognize text on the device. The app does not upload screenshots to us or save the original image as part of its subscription archive. Selected items are released after processing; records you review and save remain locally. Original images remain in your photo library until you delete them. Notification permission is optional and is used for local renewal reminders. You can revoke permission in iOS Settings.
4. Accounts, tracking and sharing
The current app has no account system, advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK or developer-operated cloud synchronization. We do not sell your subscription records or use them for advertising. Device backups or files you deliberately share may be processed by Apple or your chosen storage provider under their policies.
5. Backups, retention and deletion
Records remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Archiving a record does not delete it. Exported JSON backups include subscription records and preferences and are not encrypted by the app; store and share them carefully. Deleting the app does not delete exported files or copies in device or cloud backups. Manage those copies with the relevant provider. We cannot restore records that we never received.
6. Website and support
This static website uses no advertising trackers, analytics scripts or cookies set by our site code. Hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses, request times, requested URLs and browser information to deliver pages and protect the service. If you contact us, we process the information you voluntarily provide to respond and resolve your request. Please do not send payment credentials or unnecessary screenshots. Support correspondence is kept only as necessary to handle the request and meet applicable obligations.
7. Your choices and rights
You can view, correct, export and delete your app records directly in the app, and manage permissions in iOS Settings. Depending on your location, you may also have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or complaints to your local data-protection authority. Contact the operator for requests concerning support correspondence; we cannot access your on-device archive.
8. Children and security
The app is a general-purpose organization tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through support. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us to request deletion. Use a device passcode and protect your backups. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Updates and contact
We will update this page and its date when this policy changes. Material changes to data processing will be explained through an appropriate notice before they apply. Both language versions are intended to communicate the same practices; mandatory rights under applicable law are unaffected.
